BEIZ / PODCAST EDITING
DUBAI / RU · EN · ARVideo podcast editing in Dubai and interview clips
We edit recorded video podcasts and interviews for businesses and creators in Dubai, including footage filmed by another team. We agree the full episode, short clips, sound and subtitles. The price and schedule follow a review of the original camera footage and audio tracks.
Discuss podcast editingWhat can we make from your podcast recording?
We edit recorded video podcasts and interviews for projects in Dubai and the UAE. Your footage can become a full episode, selected excerpts and vertical clips for Reels, Shorts or TikTok. After reviewing the source files, we agree the deliverables, running lengths and versions before editing starts.
A full episode follows the conversation. A short clip needs to communicate one idea to someone who has not watched the interview. Each format calls for its own selection: a strong remark halfway through an hour may need the preceding question, an explanation or a different opening. The number of clips therefore depends on the material and the brief.
What should you send for an estimate?
Share a link to the original video and audio, the recording length and the deliverables you need. Keep each camera and recorder's files separate and give them clear names. Samples can help us discuss the task initially; we confirm the final scope and estimate after checking the source material.
| Material to share | What we check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Footage from each camera | Running time, continuity and available shots | Multicamera editing options |
| Separate audio tracks | Synchronisation, speech clarity and noise | Sound processing requirements |
| Speaker and topic list | Names, terminology and essential sections | Titles and episode structure |
| Editing instructions | Timecodes, repetitions and excluded topics | Boundaries for editorial decisions |
| Formats and references | Full episode, vertical clips and subtitles | The final version list |
Tell us where recording stopped, whether files are missing and which sections must stay out of the edit. Put logos, fonts, approved intros and text in a separate folder. You can save and complete our podcast editing brief before getting in touch.
How do we edit the full episode?
We first check that the material is complete and synchronise the video with the relevant audio tracks. We then assemble the conversation, selecting camera angles and removing agreed repetitions or technical pauses while keeping the connection between questions and answers clear. We discuss the editorial approach in advance: a light assembly and a substantially shortened interview require different work.
We review sound alongside the picture. Processing can help with differences in level and some background noise, but the outcome depends on the recording. Missing speech, severe distortion or voices obscured by other sounds need a specific review. We discuss the affected passages and possible approaches before agreeing the task.
Speaker names, intros, inserts and subtitles follow the brief. Identify which elements you can supply and which need to be developed. This lets us distinguish editing, visual treatment and additional asset preparation in the estimate.
How do we select clips for Reels and Shorts?
Each clip needs a complete point, enough context and an intended placement. We can work from your timecodes or include editorial selection in the scope. We then agree the number of clips, approximate lengths, sequence and versions, including alternative openings where required.
Shortening the conversation must preserve what the speaker meant. We check that a condition has not become a promise, a question an assertion or a personal example a general recommendation. Headlines and subtitles need to match the speaker's words. Passages that need a decision are flagged for approval.
For vertical versions, we review the original framing: whether the face remains visible, important gestures fit and there is room for text. Some clips need a different layout. The finished assets can feed into your social media content plan; account management and publishing are discussed through that service.
Project evidence: the Acting Gym podcast
For Acting Gym, our podcast work covered synchronising footage from three cameras with a separate audio recorder, creating a multicamera edit and processing the sound. We prepared 51 vertical clips across 17 topics, with alternative openings and titles, and delivered horizontal and vertical versions.
This example demonstrates work with recorded material. The clip count belongs to that specific project. We scope a new commission from its own footage, topics and agreed output list. The case study also describes other work BEIZ delivered for the Dubai workshop.
How are languages, titles and subtitles agreed?
Tell us the language of the conversation and the languages needed for delivery. For Russian and English material, we agree the spelling of names, specialist terms and company names. Translation is scoped with its own review process. Arabic text requires native-speaker proofreading before final delivery.
Subtitles can be embedded in the picture or supplied as a separate file where included in the brief. We agree delivery, styling and destination requirements in advance. For bilingual versions, we check readability on a phone and whether each line stays visible long enough.
What determines the price and schedule?
The estimate depends on total footage length, the number of cameras and audio tracks, editorial complexity, sound quality, clip count and final versions. Selection, translation, titles, graphics and subtitles are scoped where required. We turn a request for one podcast into an agreed list of work and files.
After reviewing the material, we confirm the price, first-version and final-delivery dates, revision rounds and feedback process. Tell us your intended publication date early so we can assess the work and approval time needed. Editing existing recordings is part of our production service.
How do we review and deliver the edit?
Feedback uses timecodes to identify what needs changing, what should stay and which version is approved. We check final files against the output list: length, aspect ratio, language, names and titles, synchronisation, sound and agreed cuts. For a clip series, we also check file names and topic labels so your team can identify the materials.
Working-project handover, source files and retention periods are discussed separately before work begins. If music or other supplied assets are used, we agree the assets and rights for their intended placement. Send a link to your recording and the completed brief, with priority versions and your preferred delivery date.

ABOUT THIS SERVICE
Common
questions.
Can you edit a podcast filmed by another team?
Yes. Share the original footage from each camera, separate audio tracks, recording length and required output. We check the files for completeness and quality before agreeing the editing scope.
How much does podcast editing cost in Dubai?
We quote after reviewing the recording. Footage length, camera and track count, editorial cuts, sound processing, visual treatment, subtitles and final versions all affect the estimate.
Can we order just short clips from an interview?
Yes. The brief specifies clip numbers, formats, titles and subtitles. You can provide timecodes or include editorial selection in the work. We confirm the count against the available material.
How many clips can one episode produce?
It depends on the complete topics available and the purpose of each clip. For Acting Gym, we prepared 51 clips across 17 topics. That was one project; we agree a separate output list for your recording.
Can you fix poor audio?
We need to hear the source tracks first. Processing options depend on the noise and how much usable speech remains. Missing or severely distorted speech requires a discussion of the affected passage and possible approaches.
How long does editing take, and how many revisions are included?
After the brief and source review, we agree first-version and final-delivery dates, revision rounds and the feedback process. Editing comments use timecodes so each requested change is clear.
Can you add English, Russian or Arabic subtitles?
We agree languages, translation, styling and subtitle delivery separately. Names and specialist terms are checked with you. Arabic text requires native-speaker proofreading before final delivery.
Will we receive the working project and source files?
The brief lists the final deliverables. Working-project and source-file handover, together with retention periods, are discussed separately before work begins.
