Product photography in Dubai for ecommerce and advertising
We photograph products in Dubai for ecommerce stores, catalogues and advertising campaigns. We agree product views, packaging, details and campaign compositions for each item, then confirm the location, processing and final file list. The estimate follows that brief before shooting starts.
Discuss product photographyEcommerce product photography or campaign images?
An ecommerce listing needs a clear view of the product, legible packaging and relevant details. Campaign images need an agreed composition, setting and space for copy. If both are required, we list them separately in the brief: one photograph may not serve both uses.
| Intended use | What we agree before the shoot | What we check in the final files |
|---|---|---|
| Catalogue or ecommerce store | Products, variants, required views and background | Complete item list, consistent scale and legible packaging |
| Advertising campaign | Concept, composition, props and text space | Fit with the offer and required aspect ratios |
| Product details | Texture, colour, labels and construction | Important features remain accurate after processing |
During preparation, we identify which tasks belong in your project:
- overall product and packaging views;
- details, colour and texture;
- individual product variants;
- compositions showing context or use;
- images framed for a specific website, social post or advertisement.
These are possible requirements to discuss, not automatic inclusions in every shoot. We agree the final shot list and number of images in the brief.
Portfolio example: the FROSISTA series
The FROSISTA album contains six final photographs, combining close product views, packaging and table settings. Kirill Fedotov carried out preparation, composition, lighting, photography and retouching. The series shows how product presentation, texture and reflections change across different settings.

The production article explains the visual choices and the finished output for advertising, print, social media and the website. Six photographs are the result of that particular project, not a standard allowance for a new commission. More credited work is available in the production portfolio.
How do we prepare a product photography brief?
Share a product list, packaging images and the intended uses. For each item, identify essential views and details: what must be visible, which text must be readable and which variants need separate images. When you send references, explain what you like about them: the light, background, scale or composition.
Specify aspect ratios and technical requirements early. A product-listing image and a wide website banner may need different photographs. If the work is intended for a particular store or platform, include its file requirements so delivery can be checked against the agreed brief.
What determines the estimate?
The number of products is only one part of the calculation. Other factors include views and compositions, packaging and reflective surfaces, props, location, processing and final versions. We price the brief after reviewing these requirements rather than deriving a new quote from the number of photographs in a portfolio album.
The proposal identifies preparation, shooting, processing and file delivery. Any equipment hire, location, props or travel are agreed in the estimate. Our production cost guide explains the general shooting-day terms; the cost of your product series depends on its complete scope.
What should you prepare before the shoot?
We agree access to the products and the working location in advance. Check the samples and packaging, the current labels and the availability of every variant that needs to appear. We also discuss delivery and return of the products and any handling requirements.
You confirm the shot list and schedule with us. For a store or showroom, planning takes account of available space and the team's normal working day. The location and date are confirmed as part of the project agreement.
How are retouching and final files agreed?
We define the processing scope and the details that need to remain accurate, including colour, shape, labelling and texture. We also agree file sizes and formats, web or print versions, naming and revision rounds. Raw-file handover and storage periods are discussed separately.
Include all required formats before the shoot. A tight composition may not allow another crop without losing the product or space for text. Our guide to several formats from one shoot explains this part of preparation.
How do we start?
Send the product list, packaging examples, required formats and the date you intend to use the material. We will clarify the shot list and propose a scope and estimate. You confirm the final deliverables, location and schedule before production. Product photography is part of our existing photography and video production service.
Common
questions.
Is there a fixed price per product?
This page does not offer a per-product or per-SKU rate. The estimate depends on products, views, compositions, location requirements, processing and final files.
How many photographs will we receive?
We agree the number in the shot list before production. The six photographs in the FROSISTA album belong to that project and do not define a new package.
Can one brief cover catalogue and advertising images?
Yes. We review where the same photograph can work and where a separate composition is needed, then include the agreed versions in the estimate.
Are retouching and raw files included?
Processing, final files and revision rounds are agreed before production. Raw-file handover and storage are discussed separately.
What should we send for an estimate?
A product list and photographs, packaging, required views, visual references and destination-platform requirements. Include when you need the material; we confirm the schedule after agreeing the scope.
